Dr Pamela Hussey, PhD, MSc, Med, RGN, RCN.
Director of the Centre of eIntegrated Care (CeIC)
School of Nursing, Psychotherapy & Community Health, Dublin City University

Employed as a lecturer in Health Informatics in the School of Nursing and Human Sciences (SNHS) DCU, Dr Pamela Hussey joined the academic community later in life following twenty years as a practicing nurse in general medicine. Pamela is also director of the ICNP© R+D centre in Ireland since 2016. Her research interests include concepts and terminology, developing technology enhanced learning objects and the Electronic Health Record. She teaches informatics in eHealth at both
an undergraduate and postgraduate level and has a number of PhD students engaged in implementation research.

Sharon Farrell

Employed as the Project Co-ordinator for the CeIC within the SNHS. Sharon has worked in DCU SNHS for twelve years holding a senior administration post within the School. She has extensive experience gained through various positions in IT Project Management, IT Training and administration roles. An experienced presenter to both business and internal staff . She is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the IA function and associated software for the Data Dictionary Programme within the centre. She has just started her MSc in Education & Training (eLearning), St Pat’s DCU.
